Program description

Adira Foundation redirected some funding to meet the immediate and pressing need COVID-19 brought to our community.

Adira’s community—made up of five communities: Alzheimer’s disease, ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), Huntington’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and Parkinson’s disease—is the most important aspect of who we are and what we do. Our purpose is to work together to better the lives of people with neurodegenerative diseases that in the best of times face challenges and barriers that a person with typical health rarely experience.

As such, we granted $100,000 total to organizations working to support the many individuals with neurodegenerative diseases and those who love and care for them during this uncertain time.
